About me
I have been a professional organist since my first job in a church in England when I was fourteen. I received the Associate level certification (AAGO) with the American Guild of Organists, and most recently I was the Principal Organist at Saint Johns Episcopal Church in Boulder for 20 years.
I have been at Mountain View United Methodist Church for two and a half years. In my first six months, the church developed the full-time position of Director of Music and Worship Arts I now hold which allows me and my pastor to work closely to design and implement worship and liturgy, from music to visual arts, dance, decor, theatre, etc. I direct the choir, and I have on staff with me a Piano Accompanist and a Bell Choir Director.
I am a certified and licensed therapeutic massage therapist. I usually ride my bike 44 miles to and from church two or three times a week.
My husband and I recently celebrated our 36th anniversary together. We have a beautiful black greyhound and a crazy cat.
