- A note for July 19 travelers: The FIFA World Cup Final kicks off at 3:00pm ET at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford — the same day most of you are arriving. NJ Transit will restrict service through New York Penn Station beginning around 11:00am. If your route passes through New York, plan to travel early or allow extra time. Full commuter guidance at .
- By train: NJ Transit's Northeast Corridor serves Princeton Junction, with Amtrak connections from New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and Washington. At Princeton Junction, transfer to the "Dinky" (a 4-minute shuttle) to the Princeton University station. The Seminary is a 10–12 minute walk: turn right on Alexander Street and follow the incline to the PTS campus on your left. Travelers from Philadelphia, Trenton, or Washington should be largely unaffected by World Cup service changes.
- By car — from the north: NJ Turnpike to Exit 9 (New Brunswick), then Route 1 south to Princeton. Allow extra time if departing after midday; Turnpike traffic will be heavy before the 3:00pm match.
- By car — from the south: NJ Turnpike to Exit 67 (Route 1 north) to Princeton. Parking is available on campus.
- From Newark Airport (EWR): AirTrain to the Newark Airport train station; one NJ Transit ticket covers the main line and Dinky connection to Princeton. Plan to travel early on July 19.
- From Philadelphia Airport (PHL): SEPTA Regional Rail to 30th Street Station, then Amtrak or NJ Transit to Trenton, transfer to Princeton Junction, and the Dinky into Princeton.

Complimentary parking is available on the Seminary campus in the lot located behind Wright Library (25 Library Place, Princeton, NJ). Please print this Parking Pass and display it clearly on the driver’s side of your dashboard.

The Princeton Theological Seminary campus is situated on 1 square block. The campus is primarily flat, with sidewalks leading to all buildings. Downtown Princeton is about a 10 minute walk from campus, as is Nassau Presbyterian Church.

PROGRAM BOOK, FESTIVAL PROGRAMS, AND HANDOUTS
We have been moving away from paper handouts at our events. We will be distributing to all registrants a small program book that includes the conference schedule and important information. The best way for you to access festival programs, handouts, and other documents is here on our conference app, Sched. Those programs are most easily viewable on a tablet. You may also access them on the Sched website and print them before you come to Princeton. If you paid for printed copies of the programs during the online registration process, you may pick those up at registration.

WEATHER
Princeton in July is warm and humid, with average highs in the upper 80s (°F) and overnight lows in the mid-60s. Rain is possible at any time — brief afternoon thunderstorms are common. Light, breathable clothing is recommended, along with a compact umbrella or rain jacket. The Seminary's buildings are air-conditioned.

Lodging will be in Erdman Center (Building H), Brown Hall (Building E), and Hodge Hall (Building I). Meals will be served in Mackay Campus Center (Building K). Events will take place on the PTS campus and at nearby Nassau Presbyterian Church and Trinity Church (Episcopal). See the Map tab or your printed program book for locations.
PACKING REMINDERS
Please bring rain gear, toiletries (which are not provided including soap), sunscreen, a hat, and a light layer for air-conditioned rooms. Each dorm room includes sheets, a pillow and pillowcase, a towel, a washcloth, and a blanket. The Erdman Center will have pump bottles of shampoo and soap as well as bars of soap, but dorm rooms will not have any toiletries, so be sure to bring your own shampoo and soap. You are encouraged to bring a water bottle (there are many bottle refill stations across campus) and may want to bring a coffee mug.
If you signed up to work at the Farminary, you will receive special instructions for how to dress that day along with other details.
ALL-GENDER RESTROOM LOCATIONS
Brown Hall — 1 individual restroom just inside the center entrance. Note: card access required.
Erdman Hall — 2 individual restrooms in the basement, near the art studio.
Hodge Hall — Individual restrooms on each floor; 3 additional individual restrooms on the ground floor available to Hodge guests.
Mackay Campus Center — 1 restroom just outside Stevenson Lounge.
Nassau Presbyterian Church — 1st floor near the sanctuary; additional restroom on the lower level in the same corner.
Princeton University Chapel — 3 options: (1) single-stall restroom two levels below the main floor, near the front; (2) single-stall restroom at the front near the Dean's Study, right of the altar; (3) additional facilities in Firestone Library, just north of the Chapel.
Scheide Hall — 4 individual restrooms: 2 on the first floor, 2 on the second.
Seminary Chapel — None. Nearest option: Scheide Hall (adjacent to the Chapel).
Stuart Hall — All-gender restrooms in the basement: one with 2 stalls, one with a stall and urinal. Both have lockable main doors for added privacy.
Trinity Episcopal Church — 1 individual restroom, next to the sacristy.
Wright Library — 1 restroom per level, located in the back section.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT POLICY
The Hymn Society Executive Committee is engaged in an ongoing process of articulating and reviewing a process in the event of instances of sexual harassment within this community. We hope it will never be necessary, but we take seriously our responsibility to be prepared for any eventuality. Our goal is to take a trauma-informed approach to any reports.
We are committed to ensuring that all our activities uphold our stated mission: “We believe that the holy act of singing together shapes faith, heals brokenness, transforms lives, and renews peace.” As such, The Hymn Society aims to foster a safe environment for all people. We do not tolerate sexual harassment or abuse in any shape or form in the context of our gatherings. We also aim to provide a clear pathway for reporting traumas or unwanted incidents.
In the event of an incident or trauma, please reach out to any member of the Executive Committee (or ask someone you trust to make this disclosure on your behalf), who will inform the Executive Director, President Elect, or Past President, as appropriate. We will honor the sensitivity of all reports, and will protect the confidentiality of the complainant.
