About me

I am the first Filipino to get a PhD in Church Music and Worship, a strong advocate of Cebuano Church Music. My research interests lie in hymnology, specifically Cebuano hymnology. Last year, my essay won Best Paper at the Emerging Scholars Forum, 2025 Annual Hymn Conference in Michigan.
